Decolonial Perspectives on Digital Arts in Africa and Latin America

An essay on the material and political conditions of digital arts in Africa and Latin America: from mineral extraction and e-waste to the cultural homogenization imposed by platforms from the global north. Proposes a decolonized technological language, built from and for the south, enabling direct dialogue between both regions without mediation by northern institutions or markets.
